Charges forex trading

Forex trading opportunities are offered on two currency exchanges (Forex Exchanges):
- IDEALPRO = for Currency traders (transactions > USD 25.000 (or equivalent).
- IDEAL = for Currency conversions (< USD 25.000).
For a Forex transaction, 1 basic point (1 basic point = 0.0001) from the transaction vaulue is calculated.
A minimum applies of USD 5,00.
Example 1: Buy USD 60.000 = charges USD 6.00 (= 0,0001 * 60.000).
Example 2: Sell EUR 10.000 = charges USD 5.00 (the minimum).
Margin requirements
To open a forex contract, you don´t have to fund the full (nominal) underlying value. Instead and in most cases, 2% margin is required, creating a leverage of 50.
